What are the benefits of an acrylic kalimba?
It isn’t my intention to make Acrylic Kalimbas seem like a poor choice. I actually prefer my acrylic kalimba over my wooden ones, just because the sound is so beautiful...
Overall a very good budget handpan. The tuning is not perfect especially on the ding but still acceptable as it’s not too far out of range and to be expected for the price. Overall I am very happy with my purchase from Hluru. Customer service was also quick and friendly when I enquired about the tuning of the drum.

The feel and sound of this instrument is exquisite compared to other brands I've tried in the past. The sound is very quiet, rich in tone, and has a resonance that doesn't interfere when other keys are plucked, creating a rich texture of sound. I did notice that as I was fine tuning the instrument that some keys developed a buzzing sound when plucked. I believe is from the surrounding keys vibrating as the key is plucked, so I am hoping the buzzing will cease as I finalize the tuning in the coming days. If there are any tips on how to fix this please let me know! The body has a comfortable weight and beautiful smooth finish to it. The only minor con that I noticed was there being multiple needle-like holes on the front and back of the body, but they don't compromise the smooth feel of the instrument and only visible when looking under a light.

Regarding the buzzing sound you mentioned when fine-tuning, it may be that the keys are vibrating when you are fine-tuning. If you have similar problems in the future, please let us know and we will help you solve it.
Regarding the problem you mentioned about there being multiple needle-like holes on the front and back of the body, this is an original feature of wood and is not caused by our post-production problems.

I was so excited when it came! It is a beautiful kalimba, I thought it would be smaller, but I like the size it has because it fits the hands and is very comfortable! I love the sound, the only detail I can mention is that the B7 key, sounds strange, like an unnatural metallic sound and is very annoying, but apart from that it is perfect! I was quite worried and the seller was very kind to me, answered all my questions and answered immediately! I am satisfied with the purchase, although I am sad that the key is damaged (I think), the sound is very nice and I am happy! :)

If the B7 key is really damaged as you said, please show us the video, and we will resend you a key tooth for free, and you can adjust it yourself.
But in most cases, the key teeth are not damaged, but may be accidentally displaced during transportation. You only need to adjust it yourself with the included tuning hammer.

I have another flatboard 34-key kalimba that puts out more volume than this one without plucking the keys hard. Am disappointed in this Hluru kalimba. I don’t play it. I put it away in the closet because I don’t get any enjoyment out of it because it’s too soft.
