With Tongue Drum To Play The Touch Soul's Music

HLURU Professional Performance Carbon Steel Tongue Drum

is handmade by professional craftsmen. Perfectly upgraded 15-tone lotus drum, the sound is more ethereal. It has a total of 13 sounds in C major. This makes it has a wider range of sounds and can play more musics as you need. it is also used in spiritual healing and yoga meditation. What's more, It is pretty helpful for calming down people's emotions.

It can be played by hand or mallets. Playing it with hands demands higher standards of hands’ power and more accurate tapping position, therefore using mallets is your first choice(especially for new). The sound under the mallets will be more penetrating, purer and more ethereal. Holding the mallet 1/3 and tapping the middle of tongue head, you will get the prefect sound. If some "noise" comes out when you playing it, it is mostly caused by tapping incorrect location.

Hang drums (also called "hand pans") are made by dimpling and tempering spots in the metal on the surface of the drum. Properly made, they sound a lot like the pans in a Jamaican steel drum band.

-Tongue- drums, like this one, are made by cutting vibrating tongues in the surface of the instrument, and they have a completely different sound. This instrument soulds more like an mbira, or more properly speaking, like its bass relative, the marimbula. Instead of resonating areas on a closed surface, you have vibrating tongues (like the tines in a music box) with open space around them. This allows the cavity in side the egg-shaped drum to function as a resonator for the sound of the tongues. While you can play this drum with your hands, the technique is a bit "fussy", and I find that small rubber mallets work better.
Constructed of titanium steel alloy, coated by protective spraying-paint against tarnishing, scuffs, and scratches. Handcrafted by artisans, it can produce a clean, ethereal, Buddha-like sound and stable enough. Perfect for beginner.
