The quality is almost excellent; one highest note is slightly buzzing but I know (in theory) how to fix that, no-one can avoid such issues and it is customer responsibility to tune instrument (including fixing buzz which may appear/disappear depending on weather/humidity).
Excellently polished smooth tines.
I only don't like pressed-in notes, ABCD etc, because I use few Kalimbas and I tune each one differently: Middle-Eastern, Harmonic Minor, Ukrainian, Major, and etc.; so it is nonsense for me to have ABCD on tines. TingLing brand doesn't have it. I use permanent markers to mark some tines instead of trying to find where E is and where G.
Otherwise, it is excellent; I also ordered few HLuru from third-parties at AliExpress, which arrived lover quality (messed-up untuned tines). Ordering directly from HLuru Shop is better.
The only Kalimbas which can compete with HLuru are some "acrylic" and some "ebony"; I have few kalimbas from Germany and Africa too.
Personally, Hugh Tracey "Alto" kalimba is wider and bigger for my hands, but I'd avoid making strong opinion about this, HLuru is easier for my short-cut nails.
Thank you HLuru, I hope you will improve your website so it will be easier to find your offerings, right now it is messy I didn't even know you have handpan stands from beech wood, almost impossible to find on your website.
